1. Who we are

These Terms govern vehicle rentals provided by J&O Enterprise LLC, doing business as J&O Auto Rentals ("we", "us"), 28 Church Street, Ste 14 #6261, Winchester, MA 01890, United States. By booking a vehicle on this website you agree to these Terms.

2. What we provide

We rent our own fleet of passenger vehicles on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. We are not a broker, marketplace or agent: the vehicles are ours and the rental contract is directly between you and us.

3. Renter requirements

A valid, unexpired driver's licence, verified in person at pickup.
Minimum age 21.
A refundable security deposit.
Valid insurance coverage, or acknowledgement of the coverage options we offer.
A clean driving record.

You must upload clear photographs of the front and back of your driver's licence when booking. We may refuse or cancel a rental if the documents provided cannot be verified.

4. Pricing and payment

Rental price is the published daily rate multiplied by the number of rental days, shown in full before payment. Payment is taken by card through Stripe. We do not store your card details. Taxes, tolls, traffic fines, fuel and any damage are your responsibility and may be charged separately.

5. Use of the vehicle

Only the renter named on the agreement may drive the vehicle.
The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date, in its original condition, with the same fuel level.
No use for racing, towing, illegal activity, or subletting/re-renting to third parties.
Smoking and transport of animals are not permitted without prior written agreement.

6. Late return and damage

Late returns may incur an additional day's rate. You are responsible for damage, loss or theft occurring during the rental period, up to the limits of the applicable insurance and deposit.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the rental. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
